De Leica DA-signaaltransmitters generen een signaal in ondergrondse kabels of leidingen die zelf geen detecteerbaar signaal afgeven. De Leica DD SMART kabelzoeker kan dan gebruikt worden om het signaal van de Leica DD-signaaltransmitter te lokaliseren.De DA-signaaltransmitters zijn compact, degelijk en gemakkelijk in gebruik. Ze zijn ontworpen om samen met de DD SMART-kabelzoekers gemakkelijk en nauwkeurig ondergrondse kabels en leidingen te vermijden, traceren of lokaliseren.
